Kameleont

Branding

This makeup brand concept takes its name from “kameleont,” the Swedish word for chameleon, as they’re known for changing their colors. I wanted to try something different from the elegant, sophisticated beauty brands and chose to embrace the rainbow-hued, fun aspect of makeup. Inspired by close-up photos of chameleons’ skin, I designed the logo to emulate their round, candy-colored scales. The entire brand is centered around the logo’s persona. Choosing a palette of bright colors was meant to evoke a feeling of youthful fun, like when children first experiment with makeup. The process resulted in a vibrant brand that could be embraced by consumers from preteens on up who wanted more fun with their beauty routines.
