For the design of this events calendar mailer concept for the Kennedy Center, I began by studying their brand guidelines to become familiar with their existing print materials. We were provided with the copy in the spread, “Our Story,” but for the events calendar, the acts were our choice. The challenge was in laying out the text within a limited space, both ensuring hierarchy and legibility. In the end, the calendar has stayed consistent with the look and feel of the Kennedy Center’s unique design personality.
